Black Velvet came into our rescue program on April 11, 2013. Black Velvet came from the Garvin County Sheriff's Office along with 21 other horses as a cruelty case. Black Velvet is a Beautiful, Black, Miniature, Mare. Black Velvet is estimated to be 8 years of age. She is a body score of a 3, infested with internal/external parasites. She needs to gain a bit of weight, but improving daily. She is super sweet and very smart. She can be aloof to catch, but enjoys treats. She will make someone a nice little mini with the right amount of time and attention. Black Velvet has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Black Velvet has been adopted to a wonderful family in Belle Plaine, Kansas. Black Velvet along with her friends have been adopted together where they will all be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in their forever, loving home. We are thrilled that these sweet mini's will receive all the love and attention they deserve from their wonderful, forever, loving family.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays.
